UA Maimonides Leaders Fellowship
Maimonides establishes Jewish leaders by empowering students with wisdom, knowledge and understanding of their rich heritage. The Fellowship challenges assumptions, broadens ethical horizons and touches one's deeper humanity through 10 weekly sessions and 2 weekend retreats.
A $400 stipend will be awarded to participants.

Rabbi Moshe and Esti Schonbrun
Rabbi Moshe was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He spent 12 years learning in some of the most prominent Talmudic centers of the world, including the Talmudic Research Center in Passaic, NJ, the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, and Beth Medrash Gevoha in Lakewood, NJ. He is a graduate of the rabbinical training program Ner Le’elef. He is known for his easygoing nature, scintillating conversations and lasting relationships. When not spending time with his wife and their children Yehuda and Rivka, Moshe can be found on a basketball court or grilling. Esti Schonbrun originally hails from Spring Valley, NY. She received her master’s degree in social work from Long Island University and has worked primarily with chemically-dependent adolescents. An inspiring mentor, Esti has a reputation for her warmth, genuine nature and hospitality. The Schonbruns joined the JAC team in 2016, bringing their passion and talents to the Southwest.
