Hi, I’m Rabbi Jordan, and I’m the founder and director of Olami Arizona. I’ve got a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Master in Education, both from John’s Hopkins University in Maryland which stood me in good stead as I opened a branch in the field of education – lucky, huh!  I have a real passion for the Jewish people, learning how the ancient text of the Torah can help us grow in our modern lives, the Land of Israel and something that might surprise you… the Montreal Canadians! Hey, I’m Risa Brumer and I’m somewhat of a fixture here in Arizona. I love meeting new students and helping them navigate this crazily complex but beautiful and fun thing we call student life! In many ways, I become a mentor to the students who stop by Olami Arizona for a home cooked Shabbat meal, for a business or personal growth program or to meet new friends. When I’m not discussing Torah tidbits that I’ve learned can help us to lead a more meaningful and purpose-driven life, you can find me on one our adventure-filled trips to Israel with Arizona students, or winning games of Settlers of Catan!

Born and raised in NY, Rabbi Yehuda Weiss spent several years studying Jewish philosophy and Talmudic law at some of the most renowned Yeshivas in Israel and the United States. A dynamic speaker, Rabbi Weiss is known for his classes which are relatable, engaging and a real treat to attend! When he finishes presenting, students are most often glued to their seats wanting more. . He spends his time meeting with people all over the city, focusing on different subjects, attuned to the desires of the people he’s learning with. One of his passions is guiding people and watching them access and actualize their unique individual missions.
